She produced the popular Buddha Bark canine bio-acoustic music therapy CDs. This innovative series includes “Calming Sounds for Anxious Hounds” to help alleviate stress, hyper activity and separation anxiety. The music is encoded with slow frequency binaural beats; natural heart beat rhythms, and in utero sounds from the womb. Listening to the music together with your dog as well as apart, helps to reinforce the pack bond and provides additional comfort to remind your dog that she/he is always connected to the family pack.

About Chaz Dean Studio

Located in the heart of Hollywood, this private complex is a Zen-like refuge tucked away in a charming bungalow surrounded by bamboo and filled with the scent of eucalyptus and lavender. Chaz Dean chose to have no signage at his studio. Instead you’ll find ivy-covered walls, lush foliage, trickling fountains, calming sitting areas and hanging lanterns.

Los Angeles stylist Chaz Dean has a celebrity clientele list that reads like a who’s who in Hollywood, and yet the humble-hearted hair designer has a Zen-like aura surrounding him that instantly puts clients at ease. His holistic approach to beauty also permeates throughout his environment. The Chaz Dean Studio recently went through an extensive renovation as chronicled on the hit Bravo reality series “Flipping Out” with Jeff Lewis. While maintaining the period style of the craftsman home that houses the salon, Chaz and Jeff enhanced this tranquil environment by installing rich walnut floors, natural stacked stone accent walls and a Zen fountain. www.chazdean.com

Jesse Freidin Fine Art Pet Photography Featured at BuddhaBark WonderPark

Jesse Freidin was awarded 2010 Best Dog Photographer in the Bay Area for his fine-art pet portraiture. He also created the Doggie Gaga Project, an overnight media sensation linked online by Entertainment Weekly, MTV, TMZ, and The Sundance Channel, and featured on ABC’s Live! With Regis & Kelly.

With years of experience as a fine-art photographer and professional dog-handler, Freidin has a unique approach to animal photography that captures the deeply emotional tie that people have with their pets. One of the last surviving traditional photographers in the Bay Area, he creates museum-quality black-and-white photographs with unbeatable richness and tone, that are produced, from start to finish, entirely by hand.

For the Doggie Gaga Project, Freidin dressed his canine models in five of Lady Gaga’s most celebrated outfits, and photographed them using two packs of Polaroid film from the last remaining supply in the world. The resulting photos went online the next morning, and within three days, gossip columnist Perez Hilton found and tweeted them, setting off the viral coverage on TV, radio, and websites worldwide. In 6 days, his website had 80,000 hits, and his work was being seen and discussed in 140 countries.

Freidin is dedicated to traditional photographic methods and is fiercely loyal to his fine-art clients, their pets, and his own Boston Terrier, Pancake. In his spare time, he is now preparing the next shoot for his Doggie Gaga Project.

We are very excited to have Jesse as one of our special features at our Buddha Bark Celebrity and Canine Style Lounge in June.
